This guide walks you through installing the TalkShopLive app in Shopify and connecting it to your existing TalkShopLive account, so you can start selling your Shopify products in live shows.
Before you start
- You have an existing TalkShopLive account and your login credentials.
- Your Shopify store supports USD currency (required to sync products).
Step 1. Install the app from the Shopify App Store
Go to the TalkShopLive listing at apps.shopify.com/talkshoplive and click Install.
Step 2. Review app access and install
On the Shopify Install app page, review the data access TalkShopLive requests, then click Install.
Step 3. Connect your account
The TalkShopLive app opens inside your Shopify admin. Click Connect account to link your Shopify store to TalkShopLive.
Step 4. Log in to TalkShopLive
On the login screen, enter the email and password for your existing TalkShopLive account and click Connect. You can also use Connect with Facebook or Connect with Google if that’s how your account was created.
Step 5. Choose a plan
On your My Account page, find the Product Sync section and click Choose a Plan. A plan is required to enable product syncing from Shopify to TalkShopLive.
Step 6. Select the Live Commerce Plan
On the Plans page, review the Live Commerce Plan and click Choose Plan. This plan includes unlimited live shows, checkout directly from your Shopify shop, live streaming, and the ability to list, stream, and embed.
Step 7. Select and sync your products
On the My Shopify Products tab, choose the products you want to sell live — or use Select all — then click Sync to TalkShopLive.
Step 8. You’re ready to sell live
Your products are now synced and ready to sell live on TalkShopLive, simulcasts, and ShopHats.
