Shopify integration updates for legacy users
If you integrated your Shopify store with your TalkShopLive channel before March 31, 2025, you will need to take these steps to continue syncing and selling Shopify products on talkshop.live.
To provide you with a more integrated and efficient experience, we're updating how Shopify orders are processed on TalkShopLive. Specifically, you will now need to:
- Update to the latest version of our Shopify app - Required: Update to the latest version of our free Shopify app.
- Set a default inventory location if you have multiple inventory locations: If you have multiple inventory locations that you sell from, you will need to set a default location. If you only sell from a single inventory location, it will be automatically set as your default location.

Add a payout account directly on TalkShopLive - Required: To ensure seamless and timely payouts, you'll be required to add your payout account information directly within your TalkShopLive settings. This will simplify the payment process and provide greater control over your earnings.

Add shipping info - Required: You'll need to update shipping information for your imported Shopify products.
- Fulfill Shopify orders directly on TalkShopLive - Required: You'll now be fulfilling your Shopify orders directly within the TalkShopLive platform. This will centralize your order management and provide a more streamlined workflow.
1. Update to the latest version of our Shopify app
If you installed the TalkShopLive Shopify app before April 10, 2025 you will need to update to the latest version.
Step 1
- Log in to your Shopify Store and click Settings
Step 2
- Click Apps and sales channels
- Click the menu in the TalkShopLive row and click Uninstall from the dropdown
Step 3
- Ensure you've fulfilled all orders from TalkShopLive, and processed any returns or refunds
- Click the Checkbox beside “| understand the risks of uninstalling this sales channel.”
- Click the Uninstall button
Step 4
- You should see a success message displayed confirming the TalkShopLive App has been uninstalled
Step 5
- On a web browser, navigate to https://apps.shopify.com/talkshoplive
- Click the Install button
Step 6
- Click the Install button
Step 7
- Enter the login credentials for your TalkShopLive Channel
- Click Connect
Success! 🥳
Your TalkShopLive Shopify App is now updated to the latest version.
2. Setting a Default Inventory Location
*Optional
If your Shopify store has more than one inventory location you will need to set a default location. This step is not necessary for Shopify stores with only one inventory location.
Step 1
- Log in to your Shopify store
- Select the TalkShopLive app
- Select your default inventory location from the dropdown menu
3. Adding a TalkShopLive Payout Account
*Required
Starting March 31, 2025, you will need a TalkShopLive Payout Account to continue syncing and selling Shopify products on talkshop.live.
Step 1
- Log in to your TalkShopLive Account and in the Main Menu click My Channel
Step 2
- In the Main Menu click Settings

- In Channel Settings click Payouts
Step 4
- Click Add Payout Account
Step 5
- From the dropdown select the country you’ll be selling from and complete the onboarding steps.
Step 6
- On completion of Payout Account onboarding you will be taken to the Payouts dashboard.
4. Add Shipping Info to Products
*Required
Imported Shopify products will need shipping information added.
Step 1
- Log in to your TalkShopLive Account and in the Main Menu click My Channel
Step 2
- In the Main Menu click Settings
Step 3
- In Channel Settings click My Products
Step 4
- Products that need shipping info added will be labelled “Needs Work”
- Click the product
Step 5
- Scroll to the bottom of the product page and click Add Shipping Method
Step 6
- Add a flat shipping rate for your product and click Save
Step 7
- Your product is now ready to sell
5. Fulfill Shopify Orders Directly on TalkShopLive
*Required
You may access your orders on your seller dashboard under Settings > Orders. You may download a CSV file of all the details of your orders. You will also receive email notifications to the email address used to register your TalkShopLive account for each order placed.
Step 1
- Log in to your TalkShopLive Account and in the Main Menu click My Channel
Step 2
- In the Main Menu click Settings
Step 3
- In Channel Settings click Orders
Step 4
- In Orders click the order number you wish to fulfill.
Step 5
- Click Tracking Info Required
Step 6
- Select your Carrier and enter the tracking number for the item.
Step 7
- The order is now filled
