101 on Setting Up your First Show in TalkShopLive – TalkShopLive

Through TalkShopLive Streaming, Sellers looking to dabble in live commerce will get access to the following capabilities:

Create Live Shows and sell multiple products during the show, as well as after the show
- Note: Live Shows are free to watch, unless you choose to use our pay-to-watch feature.
Schedule your show for a future date by uploading a show promo video
Start a scheduled show from Chrome browser or TalkShopLive Studio: Streaming app
Share your streaming content as an embeddable show on your own website.

To get started today, please review the steps below.

Setting up your live show: Web Browser

Follow the steps below to set up your streaming content show with a promo video. This format offers the ability to pre promote a landing page to your show in advance. Currently, setup is only available through desktop.

STEP 1: Click My Shows on top-right corner of the navigation.

STEP 2: Select Create a New Show

STEP 3: Choose to the date for when you plan to go live.

STEP 4: Give your show a title and description.

STEP 5: Upload your Preview Image followed by your Promo video (both in landscape orientation).

STEP 6: Select the products you would like to include in your show (this can be edited at any time).

STEP 7: Optionally add Facebook or Instagram simulcast streaming destinations

STEP 8: Click Publish to make your show page with your promo video and shoppable products visible on talkshop.live

Before clicking Publish you can select Preview show to preview your show page, promo video, and shoppable products.
Before or after clicking publish you can also Run a test show to practice how you’ll go live. This will also give you a chance to familiarize yourself with our web or mobile app interfaces for your live show.

STEP 10: Share the link to your show page with your social audience encouraging them to follow your channel so they are notified as soon as you are live.

Launching your scheduled show: Web Browser

Follow the steps below to go live from your pre-scheduled show on desktop.

STEP 1: Click Go Live on top-right corner of the navigation.

STEP 2: Click the Start Show button beside desired show thumbnail

STEP 3: On the Join screen click the Join Show button

STEP 4: You can also invite participants to join you using the Invite Show Participants link. When you’re ready to go live click the Start show button.
